I know a mouse
And he hasn’t got a house
I don’t know why
I call him Gerald
He’s getting rather old
But he’s a good mouse

I like to name animals and it is from my animal naming experience that I must say that I would not like a mouse named Geralad. However, Geri does work. Below is a list of suitable names for mouses (I Know it is supposed to be mice but I want to say mouses. Do you have a problem with that?)Well I hand-selected these names from http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/namelists/a/namesmice.htm. Sadly, the name Gerald was on the list but that is probably because a Pink Floyd fan found the name laughably cute or something.

side note: Sgt Pepper and Shrek were supposed to be two separate names but I quite like that blunder and I think If I ever own a mouse that it would be an adorable brown one named Sgt Pepper Shrek. :)

That’s the most comprehensive list of mice names I have ever seen. Just as I had suspected, there are a lot of them named after food (coconut, cookie, pumpkin, marshmallow, etc) this proves that I am not the only one with the strong unexplainable desire to eat them.
