Lyrically Lacking Mondays may seem just like any other Monday you have experienced in the past…. but don’t be fooled, these Mondays are special indeed. It is a well known fact that Mondays suck. Because laughter is often the best medicine to a glum day, we will try our best to take the time out to tune our ears to the stupidest, most thoughtless, and—most lyrically lacking songs known to modern man and post them on Tune Remedy for your entertainment. Your suggestions are always welcome!
What is a Lyrically Thoughtful Thursday?
On the opposite spectrum of the Lyrically Lacking Monday, we offer you the Lyrically Thoughtful Thursday. We will use this day as an opportunity to exercise your brain by posting snippets of what we consider to be truly poetic, intelligent, moving—and most thoughtful lyrics we can lay our ears on. We love to take suggestions.
Who is behind this?
The Manual of Musical Remedies was founded in 1934 by a group of 3 escaped chimps. With the zoo keeper hot on their tail, the lovable monkeys realized that they had no way of sharing their gift with the world. Thus they set off on a truly risky task: they began work on what they would refer to as “the interneccular webmosotic connection” or the internet for short.
Alas, in the final months of year Two Thousand and Eight, the last surviving monkey came out of seclusion and announced to the world that its life’s work was nearing completion. Unfortunately, the world announced back that the internet had long been realized. Depressed, confused and tired the old chimp abandoned the project and moved to Russia.
I guess this is where I come in. My name is Viktor, I am the CEO and founder of Tune Remedy, Inc. I am the man of steel that has chosen to salvage the remains of this unique manual and transfer it onto the World Wide Net.
Yeah… but seriously, who is behind this?
My name really is Viktor. I am a 21 year old undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. To be honest, I started this website because my family has been going through a lot this past year or so and Tune Remedy grew to become my escape–a way for me to use both my love for music and passion for writing to deal emotionally with both my own issues, and those of my loved ones.
